Dr. Abhijit Chakravarty had completed his MBBS from Kolkata National Medical College and subsequently completed his MD (Hospital Administration) from AFMC Pune.

Dr. Abhijit joined Army Medical Corps after his graduation and have tenated various Command/ Staff appointments during his career including commanding the largest hospital of the Indian Armed Forces. During his long career with the Armed Forces, Dr. Abhijit had won various decoration/ awards including the best Hospital Trophy Award in 2017.

Dr. Abhijit also had a prolonged academic career with five years about as Prof & HOD at AFMC Pune. He has also been associated with NABH as an Assessor and a member of the Research committee.

Dr. Abhijit has special interest in Quality & Safety of patient care as well as Hospital Planning.

Dr. Abhijit had joined the Medica group of Hospitals in 2018 as Group COO and in now also handling the appointment of group Head Quality & Patient Safety.
